Every MMORPG needs a good climax, which is given to players in the form of bosses. These bosses are added into the game to test out the player’s ability after the hardships they’ve been through to reach the end-game content. You can call them a superior form of the creatures or monsters that you face along the path, for D2R Bosses.
Similarly, Diablo 2 also offers such an entertaining experience for players. Once the main storyline is completed, the entire game revolves around killing end-game D2R Bosses for extraordinary loots. Today, we are going to talk about such dreadful beasts that are encountered at the end of every act.
Act 1 Boss: Andariel
Andariel is located on the fourth floor of the Catacombs. She’s one of the lesser evils that reside in the world of Diablo, and she’s also known to be the twin sister of Duriel for diablo 2 act bosses. You encounter her at the end of act 1, and in terms of difficulty, she’s a menace because of her poison attacks and the dark arena that surrounds her.
She’s terrifying and can drain a player’s rejuvenation potion, even though they’re used to fighting dreadful bosses. It’s because Andariel specializes in poison damage, and the best tactic to counter her attacks is to bring a ton of healing potions rather than antidotes for diablo 2 act bosses.
Act 2 Boss: Duriel
Duriel is located in the Tombs of Tal Rasha. He’s also counted towards one of the lesser evils in the game, but that doesn’t mean he’s easy to defeat for diablo 2 bosses. Also known as the Maggot King, he’s considered to be one of the toughest bosses out there. Many have failed to approach him head-on. Duriel’s arena is quite small and he occupies most of the space, making it pretty difficult to fight against him. He can also freeze the enemy with an innate aura so that they don’t move around in the cramped space.
Act 3 Boss: Mephisto
Mephisto is located on the third floor of the Durance of Hate. He’s isn’t that difficult to face in lower difficulties or the first campaign runs, but as you progress further, he becomes a pain that has no cure. Being the final boss in act 3, he’s quite frightening, which you can also blame because of his tactics and appearance for diablo 2 bosses.
He can easily clear a bunch of players with his cold, poison, and lightning attacks. Ranged players would have difficulty facing this beast or at least his greater version, as his skull projectiles can result in swift death. Some of the players approach him with multiple gears so that they can switch in mid-battle, which is a good strategy.
Act 4 Boss: Diablo
Diablo is located in the Chaos Sanctuary. He’s the most troublesome boss of the Diablo 2 series, and he’s quite different from the first game as he was just in his revived version. The vessel is the warrior from the first Diablo game, and that’s primarily why the three original classes are still reunited in the second one.
In your first encounter, you’ll notice that Diablo is ridiculously difficult to deal with. He can drive players to their graves with one shot from his notorious lightning attacks. However, the game runes on different difficulty levels, so as you progress, you’ll obtain better equipment that can be very helpful.
Act 5 Boss: Baal
Baal is located in the Throne of Destruction. Even though his siblings have proven to be more difficult than him, he’s the one who was the actual threat to the Barbarian lands. When he waged a war, he was quite close to conquering Mount Arreat and taking the World Stone.
The first battle can be tough, and especially for players who reply entirely on melee combat. Despite that, many different builds and classes have defeated him with a reliable setup. Also, he’s not as terrifying as his siblings in terms of appearance and size.

The fifth quest in the Myreque Quest Series, which was first announced during the RuneFest 2019. It is a Master difficulty quest that involves a plan made by the Myreque and Vanescula Drakan. The plan is to assassinate Lord Lowerniel Drakan, who is the vampire overlord of Morytania. Even though it’s a long and difficult quest, we’ll be here to help you throughout your journey. So, let’s begin!
First off, you will need to complete the following quests; Vampyre Slayer, A Taste of Hope, Darkness of Hallowvale, In Aid of the Myreque, In Search of the Myreque, Nature Spirit, Priest in Peril, and The Restless Ghost. You will also need the following skill levels; 62 Woodcutting, 60 Fletching, 56 Crafting, 52 Agility, 50 Attack, 50 Slayer, and 49 Magic. You may need an additional 10,000 OSRS Gold to pay Andras for a trip to Slepe.
Speaking in terms of the items required for this sins of the father osrs guide, you will need an Axe, Vyrewatch Outfit (can be obtained during the quest from the Trader Sven’s Black-market Goods), Ivandis Flail, Ruby, Knife, Chisel, and Rune for Level-3 Enchant. Other than that, you can use additional items to make your journey easy and smooth.
To start this sins of the father osrs quest, you will have to go outside the Church in Slepe and speak to Veliaf Hurtz. You can use the Drakan’s Medallion to reach Ver Sinhaza and then a simple walk to the church to save time. An alternative way would be to select the Ectophial teleport, and then use Andras’ rowboat to head north, or teleport and head through the Port Phasmatys, where you will be able to find Slepe to the south.
Whichever way you choose, speak to him and he will tell you about how the Sleeper Plagues has overcome the town and the residents are not waking up from their sleep. Your task in this sins of the father osrs quest is to find out what is causing this very illness and you start by checking the Church.
Head to the church and speak to Hameln the Jester, who will bring it to your notice that his friend got sick by drinking at the pub, so that’s where you will be heading next. Go southeast from where you stand and speak to Carl about the drinks. Carl won’t provide any useful information, so head outside and inspect the barrel behind the pub yourself. This will trigger a cutscene and once it’s over, you will have to follow Carl to a dungeon at the center of the town, and you must be careful not to get caught because he will occasionally turn around. You must hide every time he turns around, and then once he starts walking, you must follow him again.
The best way to avoid getting spotted in this sins of the father osrs guide is by heading through the church and hiding around the door that is to the north. Wait till he passes by and then hide behind trees that you come across on the way. When you reach the town center, hide behind the trees at the gallows and wait till he enters the graveyard. Once he does, hide behind the plants that are nearby the entrance.
Once you manage to successfully do that, another cutscene will trigger where you have to fight against Kroy. He can switch between melee and magic, so make sure that you’re close to him when he’s attacking because his magic attacks can weaken your abilities. While you’re there, destroy the lab tables beforehand because you will have to do that later in the quest. The lab can be located by heading along the western wall.
Now you will need to return to Veliaf, and then to Drezel, who is at the Paterdomus. Finally, from Fenkenstrain’s Castle, go south to locate Ivan Storm, which will trigger the third cutscene. Vanescula Drakan will appear now and suggest that Myreque gathers its members and meet in the Icyene Graveyard.
Go west of Canifis, where you will take part in the Burgh de Rott Ramble minigame along with Ivan. Ensure beforehand that you have the Ivandis Flail weapon, and once you do, speak to Ivan to begin the minigame.
During this phase, you will need to either use an axe or knife to cut down three vines from the tree and then combine them to make a long vine that can be used on the tree branch. You need to swing across the water and fight three beasts, while at the same time ensuring that Ivan is protected. You can heal him with the food you have with you. As you walk forward, you will come across a broken bridge, so use your axe to cut down three dead trees and use the logs to repair it. At the very end, you will face two Vampyres (level 119), and this is the part where you will use your Ivandis Flail to defeat them.
After reaching the docks, speak to Ivan and you’ll get the option to sail to the Icyene Graveyard. Speak to Ivan and the crew to trigger the fourth cutscene, and once it’s over, you will have to solve a puzzle on the mausoleum door.
The puzzle will require you to have active numbers in each of the rows, which will add up to the numbers in the columns. You can mark the squares that you won’t be needing with a red flag, and the active numbers will be in the blue and yellow squares. The numbers will differ for every player who tries this puzzle. However, a good tip would be to look for the column which has numbers below 5 to get a possible solution.
Once the puzzle is completed, it will be revealed that Vanstrom Klause is the father of Safalaan. Next, you will need to speak to a few Myreque members, which will include Ivan, Vertida Sefalatis, Kael Forshaw, Radigad Ponfit, Polmafi Ferdygris, Polmafi Ferdygris, and Veliaf, in the same order. Once each of them agrees to help, visit Meiyerditch.
Talk to one of the flying Vyrewatch there and ask them to be sent to the mines where you will have to mine 15 Daeyalt Ore. These ores need to be put into the cart, and you can then speak to a Vyrematch to leave the area. Once you get out, search the eastern side for a house with staircases, because that is where you will have to kill a Mutated Bloodveld (level 123). After that, speak to Safalaan and then head to the room which is west from where you’re standing and check the bookshelves there. Once you obtain a book, take it to Safalaan and speak to him again.
The next task is to fight against Damien Leucurte, who is a high levelled Vampyre, so make sure that you’re properly equipped with equipment and supplies. Once you’re done, go back to the back to reach Icyene Graveyard and speak to the Myreque members there. This must be done before heading to the Meiyerditch where you have to purchase a Vyrewatch Disguise from the Trader named Sven, located near the Old Man Ral’s house.
You will now need to turn the disguise into a noble one, so go down to the underground lair which is beneath the Old Man Ral’s house, and speak to Polmafi Ferdygris. Once that’s done, go back to the Icyene Graveyard and speak to Vanescula Drakan, following with Veliaf Hurtz who is west of the church in Slepe.
After that, you need to locate Damien Leucurte who is in the Crombwick Manor in Slepe. During the fight against him, you will notice that he uses Ranged and Magic attacks, and the room litters with fire which needs to be dealt with. You will need to attack him using your Ivandis Flail, and if you manage to keep the fire down, then the fight will pretty much be smooth. Once he is defeated, speak to Veliaf and head back to the graveyard to speak to Vanescula.
You will need to head back to the mines again to locate a Vampyre, and once you do, you must head up to Darkmeyer. Here Vyrewatch won’t be hostile towards you since you have the Vyre Noble Outfit.
You will be able to see a tree icon in the southeast direction and that’s where you need to go for the Arboretum. When you try to enter, you will be halted by a Vampyre, after which you need to locate Mordan Nikazsi, who is nearby the Darkmeyer entrance. Mordan will ask you to find slaves that are in the prison between the Arboretum and the Food Store. Speak to Maria Gadderanks after this to trigger the fifth cutscene, and after that, you will be able to enter the Arboretum.
Start searching the shelves for a note and use it to find out how you can restore the water flow by using the north and south valves (get the right combination). After that cut eight logs from the Blisterwood Tree nearby and take them to the Iceyene Graveyard. Speak to Veliaf and Vanscula again to continue the quest further.
Now you need to head back to the Old Man Rul’s house to get access to the underground lair. For this, you will need a knife and chisel, and when you do, speak to Vertida while handing over the 7 Blisterwood Logs in your inventory. He will then show you how to create a Ruby Sickle. You can get a Silver Sickle from a box nearby, and you just have to use a chisel and ruby on it to get the desired item. Finally, enchant the Ruby Sickle and combine it with a Blisterwood Log using your knife to make the Blisterwood Sickle. Use the item on the Ivandis Flail to successfully create a Blisterwood Flail.
Speak to Veliaf next, followed by Safalaan. Safalaan will tell you about his regrets, which will then take you to the final part of the quest.
Go through the entire cutscene to begin the final battle, where Vanstrom will have two deadly phases, and you should make sure that you have a high defense armour that can protect you against Magic attacks, along with the necessary potions and food. A weapon that provides rapid ranged attacks can be useful here, as well as the ability to use protection prayers.
In the first phase the boss will use magic attacks, so keep your defenses up accordingly. He will use three unpredictable special attacks, and that’s why it’s best that you keep your distance maintained. It will take him about ten normal attacks before he can perform one of his specials. For the first attack, your Ranged Weapon can come in handy as he summons Bloodvelds that can cause damage by using acid attacks. Don’t walk on any of the acid spots because it’ll deal additional damage. The second attack will turn your screen dark, so you have to make sure that you’re nowhere around him to deal damage from his attacks. Finally, the third attack will summon a blood orb that regenerates Vanstrom’s health, so you can either choose to destroy the orb or lure the boss into it.
In the second phase, you will have to switch your prayer to melee because Vanstrom will start to barrage you with lightning bolt attacks that can cause a great deal of damage. You can indicate where the bolts are going to hit beforehand by keeping an eye out on the ground circles. Stick to this strategy and you will be able to take him down in no time. Finally, once he’s dead the quest will be completed.
As a mage convert (coming over from a hunter character), I was initially flummoxed as to how I might be able to gain enough gold to properly outfit my character at any level. Currently as a level 32 Human Mage, I have come up with a fairly strong strategy for the Mage class that has the benefit of giving you enough gold to keep yourself geared via solid use of the Auction House (AH). The AH provides a good means of both getting a lot of gold for your wares and also equipping your character to a point where it can handle enemies that are several levels higher than yourself. A mage has a huge responsibility when it comes to equipment because it has to rely on cloth armor for it’s protection, and that is what the last line of defense is if you get aggroed by multiple mobs or are unfortunate enough to accidently go up against a mob or player that is at a higher level than you expected for the zone. One good example of this is the elite giant that is traveling the path in Darkshire. If you have a properly equipped mage you can stand to fight off or even kill that elite mob even if you aren’t close to the level necessary to do that normally.
When playing at a mage, you should never go more than four levels (if you’re past level 10 or so) without going to upgrade your gear at the AH. The reason for this is that there are major gains in the armor quality and the buffs in higher armor especially at these low levels and by going back all the time you will consistently have the best gear and will be able to level and grind or complete quests much more quickly, thereby gaining a higher level of experience.
In order to upgrade your mage with good gear, you need to be able to use the AH very effectively since you will be spending most of your cash there on gear. The best way to do that is by utilizing the Mage’s Herbalism profession and only using exactly the herbs you need to level your character while selling the rest at the AH. On my server (Magtheridon), even a stack (20) of relatively common Silverleaf will give you upwards of 5 gold, an amount that would allow you to get some pretty good greens and blues early on where the grinding really gets boring. As you get a little higher, you can sell stacks of Earthroot and Mageroyal for double digit amounts of gold depending on your server. Continually I have used this cash to outfit my mage and am able to PvP against characters two to three levels higher than me without going below 50% of my HP. When comparing the ease at which I level a character using this herb gathering strategy to what it was like to level my Hunter (one of the easier characters to level in the game), I am amazed that I did not do this earlier. Hopefully this has helped you a bit and will make your WoW experience more enjoyable, I know it has for me.
OK, so the first thing you’ll be doing in Runescape on your new account once you sign up is finishing the tutotial island guide. This will help you get a grasp of the basics of Runescape, and basically how to get around and train certain skills such as cooking, woodcutting, mining, smithing and so on so forth. In that case, I’ll just skip the mere basics. Once you’ve completed the tutorial island section, you’ve now moved on to the “beginner’s town”, which is Lumbridge. You can start exploring the castle, the courtyards and when you’re bored of those, you can open up the map and look around for new places to explore. But if you want to cut all that, and just get to the important stuff, the most important things you’ll need, is of course, cash. Without cash, there’s no armour, food, equipment – you get the point.
When you start earning your cash, you might want to level up your combat skills as well. To do this, head over to the farm near Lumbridge. If you don’t know where this is, ask someone to take you there. Here, you’ll find level 2 chickens running around. Your starting combat level will be 3, so it won’t take much to kill these off. You could use your bear hands and feet to kill chickens, but if you can get your hands on perhaps a decent weapon, by all means, please do so. Now, this method helps you to level up your character, of course. And while you do this, you can collect the dropped feathers. As useless as feathers may sound, the are highly in demand because of their use in the fishing skill. These can sell for a few gp each, which is not much, but when you keep collecting them, they can earn you a fair bit of cash. Another good thing is that feathers are stackable, so you won’t have to run to bank them. They also drop bones and raw chicken meat. The meat isn’t so important unless you want to cook them, but the bones should always be buried. This’ll help you train your prayer skill which in the long run, can be pretty useful.
Another easy way for cash, (and this is also a lot faster) is to mine rune essence. The first quest you should do when you arrive at Lumbridge is to finish up the “Rune Mysteries” quest. If you’re lazy, (like me) you can just follow this guide. Sal’s Realm of Runescape is a great gudie website. This guide’ll give you a walkthrough for the quest. Once you’ve finished the quest, grab a pickaxe and head over to the rune shop located in Varrock. From here, Aubury (the shopkeeper) can teleport you to the mining site. Just click on the rune rock, and you’ll start mining rune essence. Unlike normal rocks, you just have to click once and your character’ll start mining till you hit a full inventory. This is a good way to start off your mining skill and earn cash. Rune essences sell for around 60gp now, according to the update. The price may vary, but it still sells for quite a fair bit.
These are the basic ways for earning cash as a new player in Runescape. As you progress further into the game, you’ll want to know how to use the Grand Exchange. The Grand Exchange (also known as the “GE”) is extremely useful for buying items without having to ask people if they’re selling them. Now, contrary to what some other guides may say, staying in Karamja Island to collect bananas for a mere fee of 30gp for quick cash isn’t a good money making method. Simply because 30gp isn’t a lot, and you’ll have to walk a fair bit to collect the bananas, a lot of clicking is required and bananas are NOT stackable. You’ll have to stay on the island for quite some time to earn a decent amount of cash without any other additional exp for any skills.
My guide for now stops here, and I’m sorry if it’s a bit messy and all. Good luck with everything. Cheers.
This guide covers the Powerful Anti-Venom craftable item from the First Aid secondary profession in the mmorpg World of Warcraft, reflecting any and all changes made with the release of Cataclysm and the shattering of Azeroth (patch 4.0.3). You can see additional pictures of this item and recipe by clicking the numbers by the thumbnail above. Powerful Anti-Venom is the more powerful version of the crafted item Strong Anti-Venom, being able to cure up to an additional 25 levels higher in poisons, up to level 60. Each crafting of this item, unlike the weaker anti-venoms, actually yields 1 Powerful Anti-Venom as opposed to 3, which is important to take into account when purchasing or farming the required materials. As of patch 4.0.3 there is no First Aid craftable upgraded version of this item to cure poisons over level 60.
World of Warcraft First Aid Crafted Items: Powerful Anti-Venom Requires First Aid 300; Item Quality Normal (White) Item level 26; Sell to vendor price: 5 Silver, 0 Copper Estimated auction house buyout price: 50 Silver, 0 Copper (possibly higher, very little market data as item is incredibly rare in AH) Use: Target is cured of poisons up to level 60 (1 minute cool down) Item ID: 19440, First seen in WoW version 1.11.1
World of Warcraft First Aid Recipe: Formula Powerful Anti-Venom This recipe is sold by Argent Dawn and Argent Crusade Quartermasters for 10 Gold (must be Honored). The average cost of reagent materials is 17 Silver, 0 Copper when purchased through the Auction House. With the vendor sell price for Powerful Anti-Venom of 5 Silver, 0 Copper, this means making this item causes you to lose an average of 12 Silver, 0 Copper per item, strangely enough making this a much cheaper alternative to leveling your First Aid than bandages in this skill range. There is not enough market data to provide a good estimate of profitability for the auction house and it may be hard to find buyers since many might not be looking for, or aware of Powerful Anti-Venom.
Recently the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational announced the long-awaited third part of the Diablo series-Diablo 3. It is presented as the ultimate rpg, but unfortunately it is still unknown when the games will be delivered. Diablo 3 builds on the successful Diablo 2, but has new and improved classes. With the coming of Diablo 3, the hearts of many loyal Diablo fans beat faster. Blizzard predicts that the ultimate rpg would just agree to come. It took a long time before finally about one third shares of the Diablo series was discussed.
Diablo 3 takes place 20 years later than Diablo 2. In this second part, the demons of the underworld reports the “world stone” which reveals the meaning of heaven by the angel Tyrael has been destroyed. The destruction of the world stone has a devastating impact on heaven, earth and hell. The third part will again play in the dark Sanctuary. As in the previous Diablo 3 will use random environments and objects, which could be destroyed. Indeed, objects in the environment can be used to active opponents to injure or even kill them. In this way, the environment in Diablo 3 is fully matures than in Diablo 2. Cooperation will again play an important in this game.
Classes / characters
Three of the five different classes have currently been released by Blizzard- barbarian, wizard and witch doctor. Just as before, the barbarian will be specialized in man-to-man fighting. However, in addition to brute force, there are also many new skills come with multiple enemies at the same time. The wizard will fear for his magic in the short and long distance. The skills of both barbarian and the wizard are displayed in a “skill tree”. With the advent of the ‘witch doctor’, is likely the best class that can transform extremely varied medicine to mass control the enemies. For example, the medicine can control the diseases of animals and they may influence the fragile spirit of the opponents.
In Diablo 2, sometimes players were to the point of boredom when they faced with the chronic lack of drinks for health and management. In Diablo 3, Blizzard includes so-called “health globes’ use and the players only need to drink a minimum amount from the globes to improve health. In this way, the player does not keep going back for drinks. Besides, fighting can created a source of health.
In Diablo 2 players made use of Hotkeys’ on their keyboard to toggle between the different skills. With the arrival of Diablo 3, there is a different skill which can be more accessible. Players can quickly and easily change between the different skills with the mouse wheel. Unlike Diablo 2, skills are not tied to the level of the character, but the number of points made in previous skills.
